Studies have shown that these herbs help to stimulate the pancreas thereby helping in lowering the blood glucose. They also help in peripheral glucose uptake by muscles and other body structures such as cells and tissues. Other helpful herbs include yarrow, licorice extracts, cinnamon extracts, huckleberries etc.
